Mark D. Olander, EA, USTCP
As Chief Executive Officer, Mark’s primary mission is to inspire staff to create an overwhelmingly positive experience for clients, develop truly useful and valuable programs that solve dilemmas as quickly and easily as possible, and to create strategic alliances that make Canada TaxResources the premier resource for tax audit defense and information. “We understand this is a stressful time,” says Mark. “We’re here to make it easier for those who need tax help.” Mark has specialized in audit representation since opening his practice in 1982.  

Nancy K. Farwell, EA
As Vice President of Audits, Nancy’s main focus is to work with and train the audit representatives that work for Canada TaxResources. She spends her time making sure all the TRI representatives provide the best possible service to all our members. She has had an active tax practice since 1981.
 
 
 
 
 

Jane T. Smith, EA
As Vice President of Operations, Jane brings big vision, strategic planning, and extensive audit experience to the company, ensuring that the Canada TaxResources team has what it needs to fulfill its everyday mission of making tax audits easier for people and outcomes as positive as possible. Says Jane: “I look at everything, from people and processes to equipment and quality assurance and make sure we are the very best company of our kind out there and that our people are always learning and improving so they can deliver the very best service to our clients.” Jane has been preparing taxes since 1991.  
 
 

Dave E, Du Val, EA
As Vice President of Tax Services, Dave’s long career as an educator, from kindergarten to college and graduate level teaching, coupled with his specialization in tax preparation, makes him an unbeatable executive for Canada TaxResources. With a head for numbers, an eye for detail, and a winning approach to communications, he keeps the Canada TaxResources team on the cutting edge through continuing education, and Canada TaxResources clients confident that they’re getting the best representation in the industry. “Keeping things running smoothly is my top priority,” says Dave, “and I’m thrilled to be able to use my extensive background in education and tax services to be able to do that.” Dave has been specializing in taxes since 1977.
